Eurographics working group on rendering

Purpose of the working group

The aim of the EG working group on rendering is to promote the discussion and exchange of information between members on the subject of rendering. Its main activity is to supervise the organization of an annual workshop on rendering. The working group also provides a repository for shared electronic resources such as common test scenes etc...(At least it should....)
It was created under the auspices of The Eurographics association

Eurographics symposium on rendering

The highly successful series of workshops started in 1991. In 2002 the event was turned into a symposium.

Upcoming events

The 2004 Eurographics symposium on rendering will take place in Norkköping, Sweden, June 21-23, 2004.

Previous events

Some of the proceedings for previous editions of the rendering workshop are available, since 2002 in the EUROGRAPHICS workshop series, from 1994 to 2001 in the Springer-Wien wurographics workshop series.

Recent rendering theses

I would like to provide access to some of the recent masters/PhD theses that could be of interest to the rendering community. For this I will need your help. One thing to do for a start would be to scan the 'globillum' mailing list (see below) for recent announcements of completed dissertations. I will do that as soon as I find the time (read: when enough people complain that it's not done yet). Also, you may want to let me know directly of any piece of work which would deserve to be referenced here. In the meantime if you're interested please consult Ian Ashdown's RadBib bibliography file. Here's a start:
