I'm currently doing a PhD under the supervision of Georges-Pierre Bonneau and Stefanie Hahmann. The subject of my PhD is "Topology-guided Visualization of Scalar Datasets".

Research themes

The Morse-Smale complex is a mathematical object which contains informations about the topology of scalar functions. It has the critical points of the function as well as the connectivity of the critical points. Simplifications can be done by deleting paires of critical points which are connected. The goal of my PhD is to construct a function which corresponds to a simplified Morse-Smale complex in order to more easily visualize this function.

My research themes are Visualization, Topoplogy and Geometric Modelisation.
